Are the characters real people?
No. The characters and example conversations described here are fictional writing concepts. AI-generated characters do not become real people because they speak in a personal style. A system may invent details, misunderstand a prompt, or respond inconsistently.
Keep fictional events separate from real-world facts. Use reliable sources and qualified people for decisions that matter outside a story.
How long should a character prompt be?
Start with a short paragraph covering identity, setting, tone, and reply length. There is no universal word count that works for every service or scene. Add details only when they change what you want the character to do.

Will an AI character remember every detail?
Do not assume indefinite or perfect memory. Context and memory behavior depend on the service, account, settings, and conversation. A clear recap can communicate the fictional facts you want used in the next reply, but it is not a guarantee.
Keep your own brief notes if continuity matters. Confirm any claimed memory feature in the provider’s current documentation rather than relying on a character’s own statement about what it remembers.
